hong kong days 26, 27 & 28 - china trip to panyu, guangzhou & zhuhai.

suddenly, we were in China for a 3days 2nights trip! haha. though we alr bought the bus tickets long ago, we were not mentally prepared to go China yet. we only packed our stuff like in the middle of the nite.. then early morning on Sunday, we walked down to Uni Station, carrying our heavy bags! cos the 1st shuttle bus only starts operating at 815am. so before the trip, we were alr exhausted! haha. took the MTR to Shatin, where we had KFC breakfast before boarding the coach. a 3hrs bus ride and we slept all the way.. didnt even feel like getting up when we finally reached Panyu. walked ard the area while waiting for Simon's friend to come. his friend works in Panyu and so, he was our guide for the day! oh and im gonna complain abt the weather again! haha.. terribly hot!! i just couldnt wait to get inside any air-conditioned place! but sadly, we had to walk quite abit to the bus-stop, where we took a bus to our hotel. hungry + hot + tired!

finally, we reached! standard procedures..

another one! :p

we had a really sumptuous lunch at a Chinese eatery and it cost us so little for all tat we ate. feeling really full now, we were ready to visit other places!

at the bus-stop. beggars there were really persistent. they nudge and follow u.. scary.

went to this disappointing shopping mall, where we covered this huge place in less than half an hr. we then decided to go to this theme park opposite the mall.

the theme park is actually opposite this road, but cos it was impossible for us to cross the road, we had to take a bus. guess what happened? we waited like more than half an hr but the bus nv came. so we wanted to take a cab instead, but no cab driver wanted to take us! :S :S we had to give up on going to the theme park and started making our way back to our hotel area for more shopping. along the way, ting and i got our eyebrows trimmed while the guys decided to get a haircut cos it's cheaper there. ting and i then got tempted in getting sth done to our hair too! haha cos it was so cheap! and so, i cut and rebonded my hair (initially just my fringe, but i got coerced into getting my whole head done.)

kinda too flat but it's okie cos the rebonding effect is alr gone by now. gone so quickly cos i only paid like 20sgd for everything. haha.

when everyone's done with their hair, we made our way to a restaurant called Xiao Fei Yang (小肥羊)for steamboat dinner.

and then it was KTV time!

the next morning..

looks like Singapore rite?

the usual scene.. trying to figure out the map!

after alighting at Huangsha station. i didnt even know where we were and what's over there!

these places really show u the other side of the world.

simon and johan trying to read the very big map. haha. lunch was at a Japanese restaurant but there was a weird smell. anw it smells weird everywhere we went.

got our nails done, but i didnt really like it. quite messy cos the person actually painted on the fake nails. should have just gotten the alr painted fake nails! cos we wanted to have our nails done, we told the guys to go ahead and visit other places first and tat we would catch up with them later. when our nails were finally done, we walked and walked, asked for directions countless times and did more walking before we finally met up with them. they told us the place was of walk-able distance but i guess we took the wrong way and ended up walking ALOT (under the very hot weather!). haha.

had dessert and abit of rest there before we continued walking. altogether, we walked 5 stations! and the distance between 2 stations is definitely longer than the distance between two stations in Sg!

we didnt want to sleep too early.. so we went exploring!

went to Zhuhai the next morning.. everything there looked so familiar! haha. so we didnt take anymore pic. shopped + foot massage! good life. haha.

seafood dinner. again. cos the guys wanna eat all the exotic stuff!

pigeon.

and then we decided to go back to HK from Macau. i love this bridge!

and i was so glad to be back in HK, cos of everything.
