hong kong day 40 - shatin + shek kip mei + sham shui po.

went shopping at Shatin cos i really needed to get a dress for the farewell dinner on the next day. for hours, i walked the whole of Shatin.. was getting desperate and really bored (cos i went alone) so i settled for 1 of the dresses which i KIV since the moment i stepped into Shatin. haha. check it out in my next entry! haha. after tat, i went to look at the MTR map for a long time, thinking which are the stations tat i've always wanted to go, but havent been there before. in the end, i decided on Shek Kip Mei, cos we have alr visited quite a few stations before and after it, but just not tat station. decided to clear it! haha.. when i came out of the station, i understood how come we were never there before. suburbs.. haha. but not too bad, at least it was sth different. and i really enjoyed being alone on the rather quiet streets. coming out of the station, not knowing what to expect. taking pictures, though with passers-by staring. haha. eating the roadside snacks. chatting with the stall-owners. going (rounds) at my own pace. it's such an experience! :)

after tat, i went to Sham Shui Po where Apliu Street is, cos it is a famous street. but i forgot tat is also the street where they sell all the electronic stuff! so of cos i didnt find Apliu Street interesting. haha..

getting dark. i began searching for shopping malls.. and found Dragon Centre! many, many storeys high. quite a nice place to shop too, but Kwai Fong's better.. in terms of price. haha..

when i was done with shopping, Chris and i met up at Causeway Bay. it was a place tat he said he wanna go before leaving HK, but we ended up just having dinner and gossiping at a dessert place. cos we didnt noe where to go exactly and were just too lazy. haha.. managed to catch a train back, but not the shuttle bus. so i led the way up the hill! (cos he has nv walked up before!) but in the end, we were just following the bus route and signs cos i dun rem any shortcuts. haha..
