hong kong day 39 - waterfall + symphony of lights + dessert + pubbing.

tat morning, instead of the usual voices we would hear when the guys pass by our room, it was so quiet cos there were only Kai Bin and Jia Yuan. Kevin, James and Guoliang were leaving tat evening and so didnt join us. was alr starting to feel very 舍不得 with everything after talking to Kevin on the previous nite. were saying how we hate having to say goodbyes, and though we all knew from the very start tat this summer sch will come to an end, we cant help but still feel sad. i guess when u really spend so much time with ur frens, going thru everything tgt, and from total strangers to really good frens, it kinda makes everything more sad. cos u know tat once everyone is back in Sg, things would never be the same anymore..

but oh wells, all good things will come to an end.

anw, after a long hike, we were still at the entrance, very far away from the waterfall. Vivien was with us too! she's a Hongkong-er, the cousin of one of the tour guides for the conducted tours. a very gentle and sweet girl! if i were a guy, i would go after her! haha..

focusing hard on every rocky step we took. btw, we were all wearing slippers! cos someone actually told us tat it was a clear and easy-to-walk trail.. :S but i guess it's cos we went the wrong way, tat's y we walked for hours along the not-very-clear and not-easy-to-walk trail.

the mini waterfall.. kinda really mini so we went on to find the big one!

haha i just kept slipping, even though i was alr sitting and crawling my way ard! all thanks to the wet stones and my lousy sense of balance. i guess i helped create a more adventurous atmosphere? haha!

finally, finally! we were holding on to twigs when we made our way down the rocks.. tat was seriously the most adventurous thing i've ever done! come to think of it now, i didnt noe y we actually really made our way down! cos any slip would make us roll down into the waters.. still, we were so proud of ourselves tat we made it. haha. never again in my life though..

we then went back to hall to shower before meeting in the evening to go Tsim Sha Tsui.

decided to watch the Symphony of Lights. but like what others commented - nth much. haha.

with Allan & Justin. Vivien joined us after dinner to bring us to a highly-recommended dessert place - Chung Kee.

and it was Vivien's bday the next day.. so we had a little surprise for her!

after tat, we went Mongkok to look for a pub with live band.. a fulfilling day for the guys cos they had always wanted to go to a waterfall and a pub with live band. haha. Canto, Chi and Eng songs! all the retro songs.. even got the 'dui ni ai, ai, ai bu wan..!' by Aaron Kwok. the singer there actually had the original dance steps! and tat was so, so hilarious!

tat nite, we took a 小巴 back to sch.. (mini buses which operate 24hrs and go different routes. just have to inform the driver if u wanna drop off somewhere.)

it was our 1st time walking past the main entrance!

and then we walked up. one of the last times..
