on Saturday, we had our 1st cultural tour organised by the school. it was to hong kong island!

but it was a rainy, rainy day! :(

our 1st destination - Repulse Bay! weather wasnt very nice, but the view was!

we walked and walked before we reached this temple with the twin statues of Kwun Yum and Tin Hau, both protectors of fishermen

cross the bridge and u would prolong ur life by 3 days (if i rem correctly :p) but if u walk the wrong direction or sth, ur life gets shortened by 3 days.

make a wish, throw a coin into its mouth, and ur wish would come true. hmm but my coin just couldnt get in!

our 2nd destination - Stanley Market. we bought nth.. cos we are going Shenzhen the next day! ;)

we wanted to take a picture with the bus but it's ehh kinda blocked. haha.

ronald, johan, ting and me at lunch. we were joined by this grp of NTU guys and so, our table's food was all cleared, very, very quickly. haha.

on the way to our 3rd destination - Victoria Peak

ta-dah! but it was too foggy to see much. so everyone was like 'hmm we needa come back another time..' yeah we need to!

soon, it started pouring heavily, again. and i was wearing this pair of slippers with really slippery surfaces, so i became a burden to my umbrella-sharing partner. in the end, we got ourselves all drenched!

oh before getting drenched, we enjoyed this cone with strawberry fillings!

it's nice though to sit in the bus when it's raining.
our 4th destination - Golden Bauhinia Square. for the sake of a nice picture, we took down our umbrellas. haha. everyone simply took a picture with the golden flower and then quickly ran to the shelter. just want a proof to show tat we have been there. haha.


and then we decided to have dinner at Euro Go Go, an European restaurant (yah it's obvious from the name.. haha.), since we have been getting Chinese food everyday. the tastiest cheese garlic bread ever! and over dinner, all of us kept questioning Christian abt life in Germany. and he couldnt understand why we have so many qns. haha. cos he said tat even though he's also very curious abt life in Singapore, he somehow just doesnt have tat many qns for us. hmm true. haha..

christian, me, ting and ronald while waiting for khus and ish to get pillows from ikea. cos the pillow and bed in the hostel are really thin and soft! they make me feel so tired every morning.. or isit me slping too late? haha. it's just such a torture to wake up every morning!

Sha Tin is like the fav station of CUHK exchange students. haha. there have everything there and it's just 2 stations away from school.
