hong kong day 11 - cultural tour to lantau.

it was at a far far away place from CUHK.. haha. we were there to see the Big Buddha!

see the hills/mountains behind us? haha they are everywhere in HK!

the smaller ones first..

here's the Big Buddha!

nope we didnt climb up the stairs. haha. the bus brought us up..

this was opposite the Big Buddha. we were waiting for our vegetarian lunch in a monastery.

open up ur umbrella and u'll have frens going to u. haha!

along the stretch of road tat has all the souvenir shops. this place looks very ancient china.

then we went to Tai-O, a fishing village. not really interesting though, and the sun was strong. everyone was so sian by then.

nevertheless, we continued taking pictures since we were alr there. haha.

after the tour, we went to this shopping mall at Lantau where they have many of those semi-branded shops selling their items at a lower price than outside. then we were supposed to buy dinner back for the guys staying in the other hall. but cos Lantau was so far away, we only reached CUHK at 9+pm. the eatery at Uni station has nth left! so we ordered KFC. 1st time ordering a delivery! haha. oh ya, their Mac do not do deliveries on rainy days!!! :S :S
